UK: PhD Research Studentship in Neuroimaging, King’s College London

We would like to invite applications for a post of Research Assistant in the Section of Neuroimaging at the Institute of Psychiatry (King’s College London). The successful candidate will have a background in
psychology or neuroscience and will work on a new research project combining different neuroimaging techniques to investigate anatomical and functional connectivity in patients with schizophrenia and healthy volunteers.

The appointee will contribute to several aspects of the project including subject recruitment and assessment, acquisition and analysis of neuroimaging data and interpretation and writing up of results. The post is funded for a period of 3 years from January 2009 to December 2011. The post holder will be able to carry out a PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry during this period.

Starting salary in the range £26,726 pa to £28,211 pa (inclusive of £2,323 pa London Allowance), depending on qualifications and experience.
